Celestial Yurt Retreat Center
Welcome to your Gathering Space
The Celestial Center: The Perfect Yurt for Your Next Retreat
Holding group circles is one of the most powerful ways to deepen connection during a retreat. Yet many retreat leaders struggle to find a space that reflects the intimacy and sacredness of their work.
Our large indoor yurt, the Celestial Center, is a Mongolian-style meditation yurt designed with ceremony in mind. Its circular architecture naturally supports presence, equality, and flow — echoing the shape of the circle itself.
Light pours through the dome above, while cedar walls and incense infuse the space with warmth. A gentle breeze drifts through open windows, carrying the forest inside. This cozy yurt is also a wellness yurt, offering an atmosphere that balances stillness and movement, intimacy and expansion.
The Celestial Center retreat offers leaders a sacred yurt rental where groups can share meals, meditation, and ceremony. Whether you are guiding a yoga retreat, hosting meditation practice, or leading a sacred gathering, this cozy yurt provides a sanctuary that elevates your work and supports transformation.

Yurt Retreat Accommodations
Nature Meets Sanctuary
Most retreats have key ceremonies, rituals, or group practices that must happen, rain or shine. Whether your ceremony lasts a few hours or goes until dawn, the yurt shields your participants from the elements to ensure the work continues. Yet, the natural world can still be felt right beyond the threshold. The gentle showering of rain brings your participants deeper. In stillness, sounds of rushing water and birdsong can be heard in the distance.
Roll open the windows to invite in even more fresh mountain air to pour through. Above, a giant clear window lets in sunlight during the day, while the stars and moon are visible at night.
The Celestial Center keeps participants connected to the natural beauty at Bliss while still allowing important practices to continue, regardless of what the weather brings.

Transformation Awaits
Steps away from its sister space, the Celestial Hall, the Celestial Center rests on a giant, wrap-around deck with sweeping views of a Blue Ridge valley and surrounding forest.
Between sessions, participants can pause to watch the mist rise from the surrounding mountains, hike nearby trails, or simply take in the views from the back of the deck.
These two spaces were built with retreats in mind. Nature, comfort, and practice are woven together to support the rhythm of your retreat – balancing deep inner work with connection to the natural world. These conditions create a sacred container for profound transformation for all retreat particpants.
